Real furniture, dropped into your real room, at real scale.
Placement starts from an ordinary room photo. URFURNISH reads the floor, the walls and the light, then renders a piece as if it were already there - grounded, shadowed and sized to your space.
Three things happen the moment a photo lands.
Scale from the floor
The floor plane sets the ground truth. A three-seater reads as a three-seater, not a loveseat that looks right on screen and wrong on delivery.
Light and shadow
The direction and warmth of your room light shape the render, and a contact shadow anchors the piece so it sits on the floor instead of floating.
Depth and occlusion
Pieces respect what is already in the room, tucking behind a wall or a rug edge rather than pasting flatly over everything.
One piece, from photo in to placed render out.
- Photo in. An empty living-room corner, shot on a phone at eye level.
- Plane detected. The floor is located and the wall line is read for depth.
- Piece placed. A linen three-seater is rendered to the corner, scaled to the wall it sits against.
- Shadow grounded. A soft contact shadow lands under the frame so it reads as present, not pasted.
- Price attached. The live price rides on the piece, and the same item drops onto your shoppable board.
The point is not a pretty picture. It is a decision you can trust: if it looks right here, it will look right when the delivery arrives.
What makes a good room photo
Shoot at eye level, keep the whole floor-to-wall corner in frame, and let the room's own light do the work. Bright, even daylight gives the cleanest placement, but evening light is handled too.
Where placement is honest about limits
Heavily mirrored walls, extreme wide-angle shots and near-dark rooms reduce accuracy. When confidence drops, URFURNISH says so and asks for a second angle rather than guessing.
The piece you keep second-guessing - place it and settle it.
Upload one photo and watch a real, purchasable piece land in your room at true scale. If it fits, it goes straight to a shoppable board.
